Curled up in a ball,
Alone in this moonlit dungeon,
She calmly breathes.
Her copied originality
Drips down like a melting ice cube.
Surrounded by phobias and nightmares,
She doesn’t lift her eyelids.
Softly and sweetly,
She hums that melody.
Her heart gently breaks,
And existence doesn’t mean
What she thought it always would.
Holding on to nothing,
Fearing for her sanity,
She remains silent.
Wondering what went wrong
Somewhere along the way,
She wishes on a shooting star
That she doesn’t get lost in the crowd.
