Evaporating silhouettes

Shatter every raindrop as it falls.

Restless thoughts,

And tired minds,

Crashing from the noise.

Screaming strangers

Haunt my daydreams.

Nightmares filled with broken glass

Enclose me in a zipped-up sleeping bag.

Words vibrate in my mind,

Genuine fear creeps up on me.

Cry for forgiveness,

Let my plea echo through the empty sky.
