Forbidden to remember,

Terrified to forget.

Putting memories away,

Of when we first met.

The way your smile would melt my heart,

And kill me when you frowned.

The emotions that you put me through,

Swept away as you slept safe and sound.

I watched you through your window,

I listened to you sleep.

I bowed my head and looked to the heavans,

And prayed the lord your soul to keep.

The misery I wallow in,

Not knowing if your safe.
