Christmas Fear

For most Christmas brings joy and cheer.

For others all it brings is terror and fear.

You hide in the corner and wish you were dead.

You scream as he hits your pillow covered head.

Happiness, love, you've never felt.

You cringe as another blow is delt.

You wake up scared on the floor.

You whimper as someone opens your door.

"Come with me" the beautiful voice says.

You get up and follow this simple request.

You start to float above the ground.

No more fear because you're heavan bound.
