ive seen it all

when you get locked up

your life tends to fall

this was my life

what i say is real

people think its a joke

but this is how inmates feel

locked behind those prison walls

the rooms are freezing cold

you should see how they treat us

its like we have no soul

our friends and family

seem to disappear

so when your mad at your family

its loosing them you should fear

this isnt just a poem

im trying to give advice

most are there for petty stuff

but more are there for fights

ive meet a killer and a sex offender

their just like you and me

a soul thats lost their way

i know its hard to believe

we hope and pray

for just one letter

one little line

would make us feel better

life kinda loses its meaning

when youve been there for over a year

what is there you can do to us

we got to be tough we cant show fear

we've been peppers prayed and beaten

thrown to the ground

but it gets alot worse

if any of us make a sound

one little movement

one liitle mistake

we get thrown to the ground

we got to take what we take

we dont show them were hurt

we dont show them no pain

but to them its a contest

how many point can they gain

not all are liked that

not all are mean

but they dont seem to last

they cant stand what theyve seen

you dont understand?

we get used to being pushed around

most people in the free

wont be able to take
