drunk driving

how could this happen

i cant believe my eyes

its got to be false

its got to be a lie

it cant be true 

he cant be dead

i wont believe it

its got to be all in my head

i got to be dreaming

this silent nightmare

i wish it wasnt real

this just isnt fair

he was just a little boy

then the car came his way

he didnt make it across 

now he'll never see another day

if only they werent drinking

if only they were right

then the would have seen the boy

clearly in thier sight

let me tell you more

that wasnt the worst part

they drove away and left him 

ignoring the weak beat from the boys heart

they could have saved him

they could have kept him alive

with only three numbers

the boy would've died

so i hoped they enjoyed their drinks

i hope they had their fun

because once i catch them

ill do what they did to my son
