When no one is around
I cry myself to sleep
When no one can be found
No one makes a peep
Mommy! Daddy! Where can you be?
I need you with me, I need you now
I open my eyes, you I don't see
Something is wrong, something is foul
My Father I see when I look above
He broke my chains, now I am free
Decending with peace just like a dove
I open my eyes, my Father I now see
My life's clean and made new
To my old life I close the lid
Now I know you can see through
The eyes of a scared, little kid

it was written after having a lot of stress... it didn't even have to deal with what i was going through. really weird... haha... it somewhat has to deal with me, but my parents are still together. i have a lot of friends that were really touched by the dedication. |

Wow, this is an awsome poem, I had given my baby girl up for adoption but by the grace of God he gave her back to me 14 yrs later. |
