Never Alone

Never alone and yet I feel lonely
And this is always because only
I don't call out Your name
I fail to claim my proclaim

I've seeked everybody instead of You
You are the only one my heart knows is true
My friend says to me, "Cry out to God"
"You're never alone," but I find it odd

Odd, only because I don't completely see
How You can, and are, always with me
I guess it's because I see with my own eyes
And not with Your eyes; they never show me lies

Lies are what say I must have this or that
To fill the void and fill the holes in the places that I lack
It makes no sense that You are always there; my mind does bend
But I know, and understand, that I won't fully comprehend

I know I won't comprehend 'cause I'm only human
And the things I understand are known of a man
I know that You hold me and I'm always in Your hand
I know I'm never alone, but I still don't understand

I know that if I cried out to You, You'd be by my side
So, that's what I did; I was on my couch and cried
Oh, what a relief it was to call Your name
And free me from this loneliness and all of its pain

Because of Your name, I am sane, I feel no pain, I'm alive
I will call it all of my days and hope never to deny
The great and glourious power of the name JESUS
The only true power, the only true life tht ever frees us

Jesus! Jesus! I call on you now
And yet, still, I don't understand how
?How You're in front of me, always in lead
And now I call on Your name when I'm in diar need

Need, all I need is You, nothing else matters
I can't go to anyone else because every mind scatters
For You to be so close to me it sure is free
And I love knowing that I'm never alone because You're always here w/ me

You make me free! And now I see
You make me free and I will always be
Free, because I choose to call Your name
Free, because You are my proclaim

Proclaim ,proclaim His wonderous name
Jesus, the name, He took the blame
I know You're always with me, never alone
And when You say, "I'll never leave you." That is written in stone

"I'll never leave you nor forskae you"
I believe and don't mistake truth
Truth of Your undying, unconditional love
And the proof of that truth is Your precious, spilled blood

Your blood You poured out so I know You will stay
Always by my side, and always leading my way
You are with me, this truly is known
As for me and my house, I am never alone
