You Got It, Yeah You Got It

My bottle's empty now,

The cure to my disease.

Has my prescription run out?

Will I just fade away?

Well I could tell,

That as the bottle emptied,

The pills became pointless.

Old symptoms replaced by the new.

I know I'm not the same,

Doctor,

I swear I'm not insane.

I could swear I'm sleeping less and less.

Do you have something for that?

The migraines are worse and the murmur is too.

I need a better pill,

I need a stronger pill.

Something to help me get through,

These nearly sleepless nights,

And slow painful days.

A little alcohol,

A little demerol,

I'm sure that will do the trick.

I'm so tired of being sick.

I just want it to be over.

Run some tests,

Say you're the best,

And prove to me it's true.

Stay in line,

And be on time,

I need some help with that.

I swear it's five o clock.

You're telling me it's two.

Is that symptom new?

Is it some side effect?

There's a new pain in my chest,

Add it to the list.

My fever's spiking.

Is that to your liking?

Does it help with the diagnosis?

What's the differential?

Is my pain exponential?

Is this all my fault?

Is it self-inflicted?

Is my heart faling?

I swear I think it is.

It might be stress induced.

Am I figured out,

Or still some mystery?

I'm a list of complications,

And useless medications.

Just give me something,

A pill to numb myself from everything.
