Breaking The Sky

Today is the day

I'm going to break up the sky.

I'm going to rip out the clouds

and tear them to shreds.

I'm going to smash that endless blue glass

and let it fall into the mountains and trees.

I'm going to grap ahold of that big yellow ball of fire

and hurl it into the sea.

I'm going to catch those tear-making winds

and trap it in tightly in a jar.

I'm going to stuff all the birds in a bag,

all the butterflies and bees,

into the, into the

tail pipe of a car.
