What Happened?

I used to smile,

made everything worthwhile.

Did everything with pride.

Used to take bigger strides.

What happened?

That was the old me.

This is the new me:

I sing a song,

just to hide the pain.

Everything I do is in vain.

What happened?

I cry my eyes out,

try to shout out for help,

but nothing ever escapes my mouth.

What happened?

{Just something I thought of last night in the shower :). I was having a bad night and this really helped out my mood. I might start writing more! I never thought that I could write a poem like this...so yeah. You know the drill. Rate and comment.....pwease?????}
