Lost Within The Moon

I look up to the sky,
The moon, shining down white,
Silver shadows upon her face.

Clouds surrounded with a glow,
The wind blows softly,
Leaves dance with elegant grace.

The Moon. The beauty.
My gaze transfixed on her.
All else is gone without a trace.

I forget the world with its troubles,
I get lost within my mind,
She takes me to another place.

She calms my soul,
I do not wish to return.
But reality, i must face.
