Just Ignore This
set your books up on the shelf
the written word teaches you no more
just ignore this petty writing
for it is our crucifixion
watch the sun and bask in the rain
take glory in all the things you see
before they slip away
kneel in prayer no longer, rejoice in Holy life
a gift to take hold of and make of it what you will
the time is now and the Circle has just begun
the written word teaches you no more
just ignore this petty writing

This is one of the best things I've read all day :-) Keep writing. I really like how you say that written word teaches no more, so just ignore it and enjoy what we have right now at this very moment. You also reference the "circle of life." Very very nice. |
