My Father |
May We Rise or May We Fall
do you hear the ripping?
the wings that split the breeze
calm down my child, serenity is but a moment away
dim the lights funeral pastor
music fades out with the dreams of ill contentment
desire to fly once more
with the shadows that pierce the night
you found solace in the evanescant souls that flock to mourn
bitter tears they weep for a fool,
a distant shard of vanity beneath the flame of passion
god to souls once dead
the opening torrent of oblivian spreads the seas in half
“Oh caress me, blind acolyte of appocolypse, spread the seed of commited duty, and water the stars with haste.
Divity, a taste for which the masses pine, shall disintegrate with but a glass mirror.
May we rise, or may we fall, the end shall be the same. Destiny’s whores and Fate’s slaves, we all dig the trenches in which we shall lie.”
