My Father |
In Vain
Relax child
God hears your whimpering
He will wash away your tears
Cleanse away your pain
You’ll feel nothing anymore
Hold onto that tiny crucifix
The symbol of another’s sacrifice for you
He wished you to be free
Not see you as a slave to your own misery
But there is no god
That man never did anything
That crucifix is nothing more than a death sentence to hundreds
Feel their pain within it
They all died in vain
God hears your whimpering
He will wash away your tears
Cleanse away your pain
You’ll feel nothing anymore
Hold onto that tiny crucifix
The symbol of another’s sacrifice for you
He wished you to be free
Not see you as a slave to your own misery
But there is no god
That man never did anything
That crucifix is nothing more than a death sentence to hundreds
Feel their pain within it
They all died in vain
