My Father |
Broken Walls
These demons that cast me out
Lie low and spread my wings
Must this hallowed body be my all
Repent in bloody strife
An eternity of happiness must be fought for
Contaminate the sickening village
With lies to bow before a king
Which madness can not abide
True fallings into hell
Why is it that the innocent must die
To gain for a lifeless hope
Keep the pigeons at bay
Faith in all alone
This horror of fate
Cast blind ghosts into remission
Carry your father’s soul with praise before a fight
Burnings in the sand
Glass portraits of the undead
Which stains the most, blood or hate
Something to rely on
Something to confess
We can’t save ourselves this time
Though we must find a way
Turn insight to foresight
Wisdom through a broken wall
And panes of shattered mirrors
Through which the shadowman lives
Ektu Blastamia Salvati Ektu
Lie low and spread my wings
Must this hallowed body be my all
Repent in bloody strife
An eternity of happiness must be fought for
Contaminate the sickening village
With lies to bow before a king
Which madness can not abide
True fallings into hell
Why is it that the innocent must die
To gain for a lifeless hope
Keep the pigeons at bay
Faith in all alone
This horror of fate
Cast blind ghosts into remission
Carry your father’s soul with praise before a fight
Burnings in the sand
Glass portraits of the undead
Which stains the most, blood or hate
Something to rely on
Something to confess
We can’t save ourselves this time
Though we must find a way
Turn insight to foresight
Wisdom through a broken wall
And panes of shattered mirrors
Through which the shadowman lives
