Since you and mommy aren’t together

Your not there to help me brave the weather

 

 

 

Your promises get broken

But those words are never spoken

 

 

 

 

The lies you must keep

To give me excuses why you haven’t seen me all week

 

 

 

 

 

The pain you cause in my little heart

It’s enough to tear my world apart

 

 

 

 

 

You say you’ll pick me up and that’s just fine

But you never seem to show up half of the time

 

 

 

 

 

I cry every night thinking of you

Pardoning yourself you say you had stuff to do

 

 

 

 

 

The new friends seem to take all your time

You don’t see daddy, I need you, your mine

 

 

 

 

 

You’re my best friend and I’m your little guy

I’m the big piece that’s being pushed out of your pie

 

 

 

 

 

Please don’t ignore my pleas

Just show you love me and put my mind at ease

 

 

 

 

 

I miss you daddy and I’m hear to say

I’m always thinking of you and my love will never fade away
