No More

No more do I want, no more do I need, no more than I can have, yet standing alone. Once again a prayer said, I thought my soul mate stood near. So close but yet, not able to touch. A lost man, lost in self, not able to recognize what stands before him, a loss indeed. A heart broken once more bleeding for that touch, that love, that compassion, that respect one needs . A love that's fading away like breath across your lovers neck, slowly goes by but touches so gently, so soft, as you reach to hold that touch it has slipped away, no more do you feel the tenderness on your skin, a lovers breath no more. But yet, your still standing, hoping and waiting for that caress on your skin again. But why do you still wait. Time standing still, but time is not on your side, time stands against you waiting for the next move, staring, watching, taunting you to stand up and move, just float like the wind through life don't hold on too tight because just like the wind as quick as he is near, no sooner than you stand waiting for his comfort its gone and you seem to glide again wondering what will come next, wondering when will he fall into my place to hold me, love me, caress me, love me like I'm a rose knowing our hormones are like the thorns but our hearts are the beautiful petals, so beautiful, so delicate, so easily broken, so sensitive to every move in life and yet it so easily retains permeant damage from life from the ugliness of the world, but strong we must be, must not cry, please don't weep, your heart is suppose to be the thorns but I know weep, weep one for me for I know what its like, I know our hearts are misunderstood, mistaken, destined to be the caretaker, the door mat, the misunderstood. But, please know that of everyone you pass I understand, I know what its like to be a woman, to be me, to feel broken once again. I know and yet I still love, With the heart of a woman.
