An Ocean of Despair

Views (50) Other Created on 4-16-08 Flag
The air grows thin as the walls close in, and dreaded darkness tightens its grip.
I hear the distorted screams of a faceless entity.--A once reality, crippled, beaten down by wave after wave of unchallenged corruption -- The hand of destruction.
I see them now, can they feel my repulsion? Do they know how easily they can fall? They sit upon thrones of degradation, mending and repairing their seats even as they fall out from under them. Their screams are distant but they cut me deep. A mother for her child, she weeps. Giving, taking, play the game, in the end we're all to blame.
