I would have never known until I met you,
that our love is too true.
It’s not what they call blind
but more of a state of mind.
You never leave my side,
while we watch the wonderful tide.
But why isn’t this working for you and for me?
Neither of us can see.
We already have a life together,
as they call... forever.
And all we have is nothing special anymore,
because we are no longer, by the shore.
