To His Toy Mistress |
Disappeal
Everyone I know goes away in the end
I cast them off without a doubt, leave broken hearts to mend
Lost in between varying false realities
Taking in multitudes of false sympathies
An apology there and a kiss on the cheek
Too much strain and sorrow reaching its horrible peak
You could ask me how I feel, an uncaring shell greets you
But an inner soul, reaching for good, to start anew
Here I lay, staring up at the ceiling
Nothing I can think of, sounds any bit appealling
I cast them off without a doubt, leave broken hearts to mend
Lost in between varying false realities
Taking in multitudes of false sympathies
An apology there and a kiss on the cheek
Too much strain and sorrow reaching its horrible peak
You could ask me how I feel, an uncaring shell greets you
But an inner soul, reaching for good, to start anew
Here I lay, staring up at the ceiling
Nothing I can think of, sounds any bit appealling
