The Reason

I stand,

trying to move my feet

but no matter how much I try,

my feet are glued in place

Is he the reason?

Is that why my mouth goes dry,

my heart races

and I start to sweat?

Is he the reason I must keep

my feelings locked inside?

Oh why did this have to happen now?

Why must I feel like this when he walks by?

Is he the reason?

He says hi, and I try to smile

Every word he says is from a heavenly voice

I try to find the right words to say

but at that moment, my mind goes as

blank as a clean piece of paper

Then, all of a sudden,

I'm as light as a feather,

Is he the reason?

Then he dissapears from sight

My feet slowly return to th Earth

Hoping, dreaming, wishing I will see him soon

Is he the reason this happens

Every time I see him
