can you hear me are you listening,

as you stare at a star far away not paying attention to a word i say,

what makes you act this way,

why dont you come outside and play,

as you lay there not even caring about me,

cant you even see me im right here,

hold me near please dad,

oh you make me so mad this is why i act so bad,

im just so glad to have your attention dad,

fine dont love me leave just walk away,

ill stay here and just wait another day.
