Anorexic Shattered
Sketch me on blank canvas tonight
Trace along my hunger's alright
She can hardly stand this way
I can barely see her face
Anymore...
Anorexic shatters
So just once more
I'll fast through the day
Flying light
Is lovely someway
There's some freedom in true lies
Round and empty become her eyes
Til I can't see them
Anymore
Anorexic shatters
There's no other way
It's an only way
So here I stand on size zero throne
Neglected soul
To pursue my bones
Daring~chancing my own demise
Is nothing now
I'm empty, wholesome, drawn, like air
I'm slipping further from your stare

| I agree with Laralei- if only everyone could see the wrongness of anorexia- I have a friend who does this, and often I'm worried about her health but I'm not sure if she starves herself for show and pigs out at home, or if she really does not eat everyday save for an apple or something small like that. This poem is really true, I love it alot |
