    I look then turn away

    my flimsy stare can't meet your gaze

    I'll never be able to say

    how I manage my blurry daze.

 

    My hand met yours

    and I felt nothing

    You can shatter my nerves

    and I'll feel nothing

 

    I listen for your voice

    amongst others

    I hear so much

    and I start to shudder

    I can feel nothing

    I promise to feel nothing

 

    Take me away

    so I can feel nothing

    kiss my face

    and I will feel nothing

 

    Say something true

    to make me feel nothing

    I'll feel nothing

   

    I start to love you

    nothing

    too many feelings

    and I can feel everything

sixtiesdoll I wrote this about a guy that's sort-of detached with his emotions. So the whole feel nothing thing is my attempt to match his level. minus the last part.
