Not My Superhero

Turns out you weren't my superhero,

Not even Clark Kent in disguise,

We've been playing games for too long,  

It's about time we said our goodbyes.

It is going to hurt me like crazy,

Giving you up so you can care for

A beautiful girl who deserves you.

Forget me, remember me no more.

Maybe you were just put in my life

To shape me, make me who I am today

So when I meet my real true love

He'll sweep me off my feet, and take me away.

Or it could be the other way around,

I am just here to help out you.

Maybe I've guided you in someway,

I hope I've done anything, after all we've been through.

Either way, it doesn't matter now, anymore,

Our time together has reached its regretted end.
