Heaven is Waiting
Heaven is waiting, I will see you again
For now passing through life with shallow breaths
Tarrying this path we once walked together
Moving wearily along by these broken steps
My heart sinking heavier with each passing day
Because each day I wake up, without you here
Now you are my guide watching over my path
Yet I still walk alone, yearning to have you near
I hold on to memories of how you protected me
Sometimes I can't wait for my life to end
Just to have one more day without all this sorrow
Seems like an eternity, my friend
Heaven is waiting, I will see you again
Wearing time on my wrist as ticks away
Because each day I wake up, without you here
The memories behind eyes that don’t see the day
Tarrying this path we once walked together
I hold on to memories of how you protected me
They conquer the days that stand between us
My friend, it seems like an eternity
Now you are my guide watching over my path
Sometimes I can't wait for my life to end
Blinded by reflections that refuse to fade

I played with this one a bit stealing lines from other verses, and adding submissions along the way. It was a puzzle for me and fun to do.
