Carbohydrained
Let’s Build a Poem Together 3
(in it’s completion)
Carbohydrained
I can see so much in this mirror before me
The years have passed by, they've been so unkind
I need an eraser to erase away the cottage cheeseThat’s beginning to collect itself on my fat behind
My melons are not quite as firm as before
My bottle shaped figure, now looks like a pear
The tight bum I once wiggled now sits on the floor
My bumps that were here, have sunken down there
Time plays us all, his guise unfair
I’ve got aches in places that didn’t before exist
I can't get my ankles to walk up the stairs
My Bow Flex “come hither’s”, yet still I resist
Some weights, an exercise bike lost under the bed
Will never replace my chair and these chips
Twinkies and Ho Ho’s, dance through my head
A moment on the lips, 3 life times on the hips!
From my once toned arm, hangs a huge mud flap
Six chins replace the one that I hadWhen I try to run, I just hear "Slap, Slap, Slap"
Gone are the days of dressing scantily clad

This is how most of mine are written.
I especially like lines 13 and 20 ;)
