I thought I found love
Everything I had dreamed of
Like you were sent from above
Is there such a thing as true love
My heart lies on the ground
My face knows only a frown
So many tears I could drown
And you don't come around
I bare your unborn child
With no care in your mind
We have created life
But you are so blind
I just want you to try
To be part in our life
I think you'll change your mind
When you hear your baby cry
