The Love Of My Life
Stay a little longer, stay a little more
Just please, don't walk through that door
If you're going to leave, give me a kiss good-bye
I love you and that's not a lie
I loved you because you had a loving heart full of compassion
You weren't like the others who seek attention
You never broke our vow's, not one single time
To hold each other like a dime
To never let each other down
You never put on my face a frown
I just wish you stayed
And this I prayed
That if you leave, you find another love
That, I prayed to the God above
We had some great times together
But I was hoping they would last forever
I never actually thought that you would leave
You would find what you're searching for,that I believed
In life I made one decission that was smart
And that was to choose you as the love of my heart
