You're The One

Over the summer I hope you don't change,

cause if you did...things would never be the same.

We've been through so much in so little time,

and I don't know how I could've let that part of my life pass me by.

But, I know I won't forget it because...

   You're the one who put the smile on my face each and every day,

   you're the one who cared,

   especially when I was scared.

   You're the one who treated me different and like no other.

   Your hugs were one of the things that could always make any of my bad days be lifted,

   and you were the one who gave me your warm and meaningful kisses.

Who knew, things like this could mean so much.

I don't think you're perfect,

but I also know you're not the same.

You're the one who'd put up with me each and every day,

you're the one who loved to see me smile,

and did anything just to make me happy.

You mean so much to me and I would never want to lose you.

So don't forget to keep in touch.

Oh! And don't forget...I love you THIS much!
