A walk in the park

Views (43) Passion Created on 3-20-08 Flag

From inside a lonely home
I open the door
I see your face
An opening to the outside world

Down the stairs I fall
But nobody caught me.
I can get up.

Just
Walk
Down the lane
Left of the pure
Right of the pain

Above the clouds
Below the land
This is where
Although unstable
I stand

Broken pieces in my footsteps
left behind on the bridge
I'm over
Soon to be burned
and forgotten about

Only I left to return
With nothing left
The tree has its stem
The music has it's clef

Walk in the door
Safe and sound?
Door slams behind me
"Honey! Why so loud?"

msszelly It always amazes me what a person can write and better yet...what are they thinking? Very Good Poem. I like poems because sometimes there is a hidden meaning only the Poet knows.
