my heart is heavy and feels so old
full of ice and frozen cold
it hurts and trys to beat in rhythm
when thought of all the times been given
but not for long this heart wont hurt
twist the wrist and give a jerk
the ice it melts , no more cold
my heart is light , not so bold
the hurt is gone , no more fight
bow my head , disappear from sight
i close my eyes , there's warmth and light
no more cold and lonely nights
