You've always been a star to me.
Once shining in my life
Now you've been given up to heaven
You shine for all to see
You gave me light inside my heart
so bright until the end
Far from being alone
You give me hope through to the end
When i look up in the sky
I see you shining down on me
A husband, a father, my love
we bid a sweet goodbye.
