Tears are my darkest enemy
My cries I keep held within
No one will know of my pain
My heart's the size of a pin
Why is the world so cruel
Why do all my nightmares
seem to always come true
They hurt me with dares
They taunt me with love
My nightmares come true
They are my daymares now
Daymares never haunt you
For they are MY nightmares
My nightmares come to life
I'll never be free from them
That's why I can't be a wife
My nightmares become real
And make all my dreams end
Pain waits for me everywhere
Pain waits around every bend
No one can know how it hurts
How it affects everything I do
They say I'm stupid, not important
And deep down I know it's true
But my daymares are my problem
No one else can know of them
For fear they'll haunt them too
My daymares make my life dim
But I continue on and pretend
Pretend everything is okay inside
While I want to cry and scream
The fear won't show on the outside
