Dry My Tears |
The Road We Covered
Awaiting for the time he'd call my name
For a quick bite to eat
Then to go into the livingroom
To put running shoes on my feet
My dad and I would walk out the door
The stars still flying high
On our morning jogs each day
Lots of road we'd pass by
Even on cold, snowy days
We'd bundle ourselves up and go for a jog
Because the road we covered, we covered together
Nothing could stop us, not even the thickest fog
No comments yet, be the first to say something.
