Dry My Tears |
The Perfect Essay
Writing a terrific essay
Was, at first, hard
When I picked up a pencil
It was like a huge shard
Piercing my hand
Bringing terrible pain
But now I love to write them
And I'm not insane
You broke down the essay
Into bits and pieces
Starting with the intro
And then with the thesis
Then came the body
With the details and thought
And to end with the conclusion
With lots of 'train of thought'
I thank you for teaching me
The 'perfect essay' form
And I hope to bring to you
An essay much higher than a four
