Dry My Tears |
Take The Time
Don't worry about the many tears
For which you weren't there
Just forget about all the times
When you had no time to care
Now that I'm older
I see it crystal clear
That it all will help me
In the upcoming years
From your experiences and mistakes
I've learned what not to do
But as you recall, you gave me life
And I'm grateful you kept me close to you
You've been in jail more than once
For violations and drugs
And you still can't take the time
To give your daughter a hug
No, I'll never be like you
So wrong for what you do
But because I have more heart and soul
I'll always take the time to say, "I love you!"
No comments yet, be the first to say something.
