my eyes were shut
it should ease the pain, or so i thought
i told myself....
never feel again....
for the sake of your health

the weeks went by
running three months shy
my heart begain to bleed...
...i think i lost the key...
none can make my eyes see

then there was you...
you just seemed to glide on through
all the defenses...
i slump to my knees
you leave me breathless...

youve made my heart unstable...
i could swear youre an angel
...you try to disguise...
but you cant fool me...
i see the stars in your eyes

you brighten my darkest day
...i dont deserve the words you say
not even heaven could be
as beautiful as you
you should have better than me...

ive opend my eyes, and i know
