surreal

There's this little girl hiding in my heart.
Every single day she almost falls apart.
And in her heart, inside of mine...
As she breaks, I will be fine...
With her there tucked away, I do not have to feel
Because she intercepts it all and makes it all surreal.
She is me... At the core.
Locking down my hearts door.
I want to let you in so bad.
But she tells me I will be sad.
And I may cry and push you back,
Please, ignore this desperate attack.
I love you more than words can say..
