clarity

Open your eyes, awaken in your fondest dream.
Drop the disguise, everythings pulling apart at the seam.
So defenseless, appearing frail and tattered.
Don't get lost as your thoughts swirl and get scattered.
Pick up your feet and keep a pace.
Living each day is like winning a race.
Breathe in deep, heavily sighing out loud.
Not a whisper in the sky, not a single gray cloud.
Sun shining down, glowing on your skin.
Temptation is the shade that is luring you in.
Vibrant colors sometimes are misleading.
The air is filled with a cold sense of fleeting.
Want to run away-find a place to hide.
Don't recognize these feelings though haven't really tried.
Fear the moments that will never last.
Succumb to the now-its all moving so fast.
Know that this explosion of loving and trust
Will all turn out better than deception and lust.
Forgetting, for now, all insecurities and woes.
Relief over-coming from top of head down to toes.
Can't quite understand what will become of this.
Just know it's the last shot~can't afford to miss.
