Burden of Love

Another Day thats dark and dreary,
My love for you makes me grow weary.
It is a dream, it has to be
this cant be real, not for me...
I've hurt so much and for too long of time
the pain takes all reason from my rhyme.
I cry inside while I'm sure you smile
In my heart, this love, I will file.
Away from your eyes and away from mine
inside my heart in the tomb of sublime.
I carry a burden which is too heavy to bear
I wont put it on you, I dont like to share.
This weight is dragging, pushing and pulling
I'm an idiot and I was the only one I was fooling.
I'll place in my pocket, deep in my souls shadows
all of the debts and my own loveless battles.
I do not wish to scar you so,
I think that maybe you should go,
and maybe I should go some place too
a place where I cannot hurt anyone, especially you.
And taking with me all I've got left
my heart is broken and I feel inept
So lacking in faith and the ability to prevail
.. and with this I leave you, as I go alone to wail.
