A Moment in Time

I wish that I could stop the time,
Freeze it in this very moment-
The first time that his lips touched mine;
Hoping it would never be over.

Everything in the world is perfect;
Nothing can go wrong-
My mind fades away as our bodies become one.

I can feel him getting closer,
My heartbeat growing stronger-
He leans in to steal a kiss;
It won't be much longer.

And then it happened;
The first time that his lips touched mine,
Leaving me wishing that I could control time
And trying to capture that very moment.
