Assault Amongst Colors |
Thou Shalt Not Wither Away
Even beauty may present a prism wearying to the eye...
I wish that they would take me as I am.
We forfeit three-fourths of ourselves in order to be like other people;
We are chameleons.
It is better not to be different from one's fellows.
The power of man has grown in every sphere,
Except over himself.
The intellectual is often betrayed by his vanity.
Hell is paved with good intentions;
Whom the gods wish to detroy they first call promising.
To err is human; to forgive, divine.
Every man bears the whole stamp of the human condition.
There is no such thing as justice--in or out of court.
Man has always sacrificed truth to his vanity, comfort, and advantage--
He lives by make-believe.
You must be the change you wish to see in the world.
Accept your genius and say what you think.
People only see what they are prepared to see.
