Assault Amongst Colors |
Conflicted
Your love was a cold fire
A puddle of winter in a summer garden.
Green grass never did grow,
And snow rained eternally.
Darkness bloomed
And hope melted--
Light was only a dream.
The moonshine was nature's murmur,
Freedom just a myth.
Shrubs rattled through the night
And with time I saw little more than grey.
Dawn behind me until now,
It's pleasing to hear the birds sing
And feel the warm sun beating upon me.

| hey i was behind you. hahaha. im glad i make you happy XD. this almost sounds like the songs on the cd 'Dark Light' by HIM (which is a good thing) i love the.. perfect collage you painted , of the not so pretty pictures and in the end, it was beautiful. but did someone put out the cold fire of love, or did it just die? |
