Rain & Sunburns

By: Justin Trigg

Sexy momma tells me I’m the only one

Baby whispers of the evening yet undone

Pretty girl makes the sunburn go away

Lifts the clouds and lets in the new day

Rain and sunburns what a thing

Never knew a bird could really sing

But I know she has a picture

A simple lecture

Way up inside her brain

Another method to stop the rain

She stops my world from turning

A little more then the sun will be burning

The ultimatum of deception clears the sky

Miss direction effects the way I want to die

She stops the fire and lets in the cool breeze

Sexy momma leans in with a kiss that has ease

Rain and sunburns what a silly notion

I never knew I had another right emotion

But I know she has a book

I’m on her hook

Way down inside her pain

I have to find the sun to dry up her rain

A hard lesson it is that I find I’m still learning

It’s not just the sun that is now still burning

What an issue I seem to be having this time

The sunburn needs to go so I may find sublime

Sexy momma needs to worry about this chance

Baby girl the last thing on your mind is this dance
