Ghost Below
Ghost Below
By: Justin Trigg
There’s a ghost below
And though you know
You wanna laugh,
You wanna cry,
But it doesn’t show
So you run off and die
Tell me a whisper and your mind
Fake a grin and pretend to be kind
You have a ghost below your smile
A dead excuse that serves your denial
There’s a ghost in here
What do you think I fear
I wanna laugh,
I wanna cry,
When I can’t force a tear
I won’t even try
What are all your thoughts on this death
Will you be there to stop the last breath
Decorate a stone to show you care
Walk away from me am I even there
There’s a ghost in sight
We’re left with one fright
We wanna laugh,
We wanna cry,
What happened that night
Did both of us die
