Walk In Sand

By: Justin Trigg

Fear as well where I have been

Speak not unless I do again

As I crawl unto this earth I find the plan

I take the long walk through the sand

Capture the image of the falling grace

Say what you fear is coming loose

The loss of grace such a scratching noose

Walk in time step in sand kicked into your face

Can’t like the beast without knowing it’s thrill

Don’t feed the anger without the hunger of a kill

Hold out your arm embrace with your hand

Come together upon the tearful sand

Scared of what I plead to you

Strength beyond the borders of your inhumanity

Washes up the sins of the generations of your family

What is left for you to walk through
