time and life

people are moving,

the worlds in motion.

the earths in a hurry,

with future commotion.

my friends are all running,

and im always behind.

because i take my life slow,

and i never mind.

it gives me time to think,

though no quiet is near

but rushing about,

theres the future to fear.

i take my time-

the turtle and hare-

because for the moment,

my life is fair.
