Blue is the ocean
As the tide comes to bayWhen the sky has no clouds
And the waves start to sway
Blue is a blueberry
Delicious and sweet
Blue is a bluebird
As it opens its wings
Blue are the flowers
In the meadow they grow
A dolphin, a vehicle,
A yummy ice float
The sound of blue is
“Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh”
Wandering around
In a darkened room
Blue is a diamond
Shiny and petite
A bracelet you made
That’s very unique
Blue is the rain
As it pours from above
A quilt, a shovel,
A brand new glove
Blue is an emotion
Difficult to describe
A calmness, a sorrow
That hides deep inside
Blue is the moon
Lighting the night
A glass, a dream
Someone’s staring eyes
Blue is a butterfly
Flying freely in the wind
Blue are all my sheets
That help me fall asleep
Without blue
Where would we be?
Nothing would be right
Everything just couldn’t be
Our hearts would turn cold
And water would turn clear
Without blue nothing would be the same
And many things would look very weird.
